BPCL flared up 1.89 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the NSE on Wednesday morning. At 10.55 am the share was trading at Rs 950 against Rs 932.35 at close yesterday.
Hindustan Unilever was trading broadly firm, notching up gains of 1.48 per cent at Rs 938.05 on the NSE. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 924.35.
Wipro rode up 0.40 per cent to quote at Rs 556 against Rs 553.80 at close overnight.
ONGC sailed up 0.38 per cent to trade at Rs 306.10 against Rs 304.95 at close last evening.
HCL Technologies also edged up 0.34 per cent at Rs 939.50 against Rs 936.30 at close yesterday.
