Coal India was broadly firm in the morning session on Tuesday. At 11.10 am the share led the shares on the NSE as well, trading at Rs 427.75. This represented a gain of 1.86 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 419.95.
BPCL flared up 1.40 per cent at Rs 922.05. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 909.30.
Lupin perked up 1.20 per cent at Rs 1,911.95 against Rs 1,889.30 at close yesterday.
Hero MotoCorp rode up 1.02 per cent at Rs 2,626.85 against Rs 2,600.20 at close last evening.
BHEL steamed up 0.98 per cent at Rs 272 against Rs 269.35 at close yesterday.
