BSE on Thursday has commenced live trading from its Disaster Recovery site in Hyderabad for the first time, according to SEBI regulations. All market segments opened successfully and trading is being conducted seamlessly, according to BSE. While the number of users and trades remains regular, thi is BSE’s maiden attempt from its DR site. The new DR centre is a data centre built according to the international specifications spread over a 68,000 sq.ft. area. BSE has been conducting mock trading at the site for the last four weekends.
