Cairn India was the top gainer on the NSE in Friday morning trade. At 11.04 am the share was quoting at Rs 253.20, up 2.51 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 247.
HDFC built on yesterday’s gains to quote at Rs 1,276.15. This represented a gain of 2.38 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 1,246.45.
Cipla was also on a roll, gaining 2.10 per cent to trade at Rs 676.30. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 662.40.
Infosys rode up 1.21 per cent at Rs 2,220.25 as against Rs 2,193.80 at close yesterday.
Wipro also moved up 1.14 per cent at Rs 645.55. The share had closed Thursday’s session at Rs 638.25.
