Cairn India surged 6.5 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the NSE in the morning session on Thursday. At 10.35 am the share was trading at Rs 177.80 against Rs 166.95 at close on Wednesday.
Dr Reddy’s Labs was also on a firm wicket, notching up gains of 2.45 per cent at Rs 3,942 as against Rs 3,847.75 at close yesterday.
BPCL flared up 1.42 per cent to trade at Rs 985.90 against Rs 972.05 at close last evening.
Bajaj Auto rode up 0.99 per cent at Rs 2,644.90 against Rs 2,618.90 at close yesterday.
Maruti Suzuki gained 0.93 per cent to trade at Rs 4,230.10 against Rs 4,191.15 at close on Wednesday.
