Metal stock Sesa Sterlite held on to its firm momentum in the markets today. At 2.35 pm the share was up 5.6 per cent at Rs 209.30 on the NSE. It had closed Monday’s session at Rs 198.20.
Cairn India also traded firm to expand its gains to 3.33 per cent at Rs 243.55 as against Rs 235.70 at close on Monday.
Bharti Airtel made rapid strides to notch up gains of 2.99 per cent near the close. It was trading at Rs 370.05 as against Rs 359.30 at close yesterday.
Tata Motors resumed its recent strong trend on the market to quote at Rs 609 as against Rs 592.50 at close on Monday. This was a gain of 2.78 per cent.
Reliance Industries edged up further to quote at Rs 933.05. This represented a gain of 2.75 per cent on its previous close at Rs 908.05.
