Tyre maker Ceat has informed the BSE that it has rolled out a new breed of ‘Puncture Safe’ tyres for the two-wheeler market segment. It uses a technology that allows tyres to resist punctures with no loss of air pressure, thus making possible a hassle-free and safe ride.
It is now available only in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and will be rolled pan-India in a phased manner. Ceat has had a good run on the bourses thanks to low prices of rubber. The stock will continue to remain on investors’ radars.
