Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto were broadly firm in the Friday morning session, as the market recovered from the losses posted in the previous three sessions.
At 11.15 am Tata Motors led the pack on the NSE as well, trading at Rs 509.55, up 4.39 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 488.10.
Cipla spurted 4.31 per cent to trade at Rs 654.85. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 627.80.
Bajaj Auto rode up 3.36 per cent at Rs 2,137.40 as against Rs 2,067.85 at close on Thursday.
BPCL flared up 3.12 per cent to quote at Rs 752.70. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 729.95.
ICICI Bank was up 3.09 per cent at Rs 314 as against Rs 304.60 at close yesterday.
