The board of directors of Clariant Chemicals (India) will meet on Wednesday to consider a buyback proposal. Market participants will be keen to know about the size and price. Currently, about 31,500 small retail investors hold 21.89 per cent stake in the company and 26 high net worth individuals own 2.35 per cent. Foreign institutional institutions, including Swiss Finance Corporation, have an exposure of 2.67 per cent in Claris.
