The Competition Commission of India on Thursday approved Vivimed Laboratories’ sale of some products in its specialty chemicals division to drug firm Clariant Chemicals India. In September, Vivimed had signed a pact for sale of some products in its specialty chemicals division to Clariant Chemicals India for a consideration of about ₹380 crore. Analysts and traders will closely monitor further developments on this front.
