Coal India Ltd was among the top gainers on the bourses on Wednesday. However the stock lost some of its steam towards the close. At 3.15 p.m. it held gains of 0.70 per cent to quote at Rs 265 on the BSE as against its previous close of Rs 263.15.
On the NSE it was trading at Rs 265.40 or 0.89 per cent higher than its overnight finish of Rs 263.05.
