Coal India rallied further to emerge the top gainer on the BSE at the close on Tuesday. At 3.24 pm the share had gained 2.06 per cent to quote at Rs 341.4 against Rs 334.50 at close last evening.
Bajaj Auto held steady to keep its morning gains of 1.63 per cent at Rs 2,465 against Rs 2,425.35 at close yesterday.
BHEL steamed up 1.34 per cent to quote at Rs 208.35 against Rs 205.60 at close overnight.
Lupin edged up further to hold gains of 1.26 per cent at Rs 2,037 against Rs 2,011.65 at close on Monday.
ITC traded firm to notch up gains of 0.95 per cent at Rs 343.95 against Rs 340.70 at close yesterday.
