On June 9, the promoter of Styrolution ABS (India) offloaded 300 shares of the company in the open market to meet SEBI’s minimum public shareholding norm. Following the sale, the promoter’s holding in the company fell to 75 per cent from 75.002 per cent. Earlier, SEBI had given time to the company till March 12, 2016 to meet the shareholding norm. The stock of Styrolution ABS closed at ₹569.80, up about 1.9 per cent on the NSE.

The board of directors of Orient Green Power Company will meet on June 13 to discuss the proposal of merger of one of its wholly owned subsidiaries with itself and the demerger of the biomass business of the company to another entity. In an earlier notification to the exchanges, the company had said the total installed capacity of the biomass business has risen to 106 MW and all its on-going biomass projects had been commissioned. Shares of Orient Green Power gained 2 per cent at ₹12.85 on the NSE.
