Commercial production in GRP’s new manufacturingunit kicked off on Wednesday. Earlier in April 2017, GRP had signed an agreement with a USA-based company for exclusive manufacture, process and supply of polymer composite products. Accordingly, the manufacturing facility was set up at one of its existing plants at Solapur in Maharashtra with production capacity of 850 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) at an investment of ₹2.18 crore. Shares of the auto tyre and rubber products company closed at ₹1,326, down 1.78 per cent or ₹24, on the BSE.
Singer India has informed the exchanges that in terms of Regulation 42(2) of SEBI (Listing Obligation and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it has fixed January 18, 2018 as record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders, with regard to sub-division of each equity share of face value ₹10 each fully paid-up into five equity shares of face value ₹2 each fully paid-up, as approved by the shareholders through postal ballot. Shares of Singer India closed the day at ₹254.75, down 2.82 per cent or ₹7.40, on the BSE.
