Alok Industries has received an additional advance amounting to $200 million under the Export Performance Bank Guarantee Scheme-backed export advance scheme on July 1. This raises the total advance to the company under the scheme to $675 million. The company was earlier granted $1633.33 million (equivalent to about ₹9,800 crore). Shares of Alok Industries surged 7 per cent to ₹7.25 on the NSE.
The board of directors of Starlite Components on Monday approved conversion of 30 lakh warrants into equity shares upon the balance amount due on the warrants being paid by the warrant holder. The warrants had been issued by the company to a public investor in accordance with the Rehabilitation Scheme sanctioned by the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR). Similalry, 42 lakh warrants have been converted into equity shares. The board also approved issuing nine lakh equity shares of face value ₹10 each on preferential basis to its promoter and their associates. Shares of Starlite Components slipped 2.65 per cent at ₹11 on the BSE.
Nihar Info Global has informed the BSE that the company has entered into an agreement with Corporate Investigations India Pvt Ltd for one of its eCommerce portals www.anyservice.in. The pact entails sterling quality verification, security services and the other services, such as security survey, due diligence, market survey, company profiling and address verification. Shares of Nihar Info Global gained 0.97 per cent at ₹36.60 on the BSE.
The board of Unity Infraprojects has approved allotment of 36.08 lakh equity shares of ₹2 each at ₹27.52 apiece to CDR lenders and 2.64 crore shares to promoters and promoter group, pursuant to the CDR Scheme. It also considered conversion of interest for the period April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016 on funded interest term loan into equity. The board gave the nod to the general body to approve the CDR Scheme through Postal Ballot. Shares of Unity Infra closed up 2.63 per cent at ₹13.67 on the BSE.
