Eros International Media Ltd has bought worldwide distribution rights of ‘Rock On 2’ and ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ films, the company informed the exchanges. Excel Entertainment is the producer of both the films. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is co-producing ‘Baar Baar Dekho’. Shares of Eros International shares traded down 1.02 per cent at ₹482.20 on the BSE.
Strides Arcolab Ltd has completed the acquisition of the generic pharmaceutical business and some assets of Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Ltd. The consolidation will come into effect September 1, the company informed the exchanges. On May 21, Strides Pharma Pte Ltd, Singapore and Strides (Australia) Pharma Pte Ltd, both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Strides Arcolab, had signed definitive agreements with some arms of Aspen Pharmacare Holdings to acquire the generic business. The stock of Strides Arcolab closed at ₹1226.55, up 3 per cent on the NSE.
Deccan Gold Mines has informed the BSE that September 5 has been fixed as record date for the purpose of rights issue. Earlier, the company had fixed the price as ₹17 (raised from ₹15 offered earlier) in the ratio of 1 rights share for every 2 shares held. Shares of Deccan Gold Mines closed at ₹55.60, down 4.98 per cent on the BSE.
