Ujaas Energy has received a letter of intent for design & engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply, installation, testing and commissioning, including warrantee obligation, for 10-MW of Teesta Canal Fall Hydroelectric Power Plant, Stage-II, at Haptiagachh, Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal. The order cost is approximately ₹65.88 crore. Shares of Ujaas Energy edged down 1.89 per cent at ₹15.55 on the NSE.
Tara Jewels has signed an exclusive manufacturing and supply agreement with Sterling Jewellers Inc (USA), a part of Signet Group. Sterling is the largest speciality jeweller in the US and the UK for the designer brand Angel Sanchez. A launch order valued at ₹29 crore (approx $4.4 million) has been successfully delivered. The designs are being tested initially in about 60 stores. Sterling Jewellers has approximately 1,400 stores in America. Shares of Tara Jewels closed at ₹32.55, down 1.21 per cent on the NSE.
Emami has informed the exchanges that Emami UK Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, has been dissolved, in accordance with the law of the United Kingdom. Emami UK had insignificant business operations, said Emami in the notification. Shares of Emami gained 1.22 per cent at ₹1,083.75 on the NSE.
