RPP Infra Projects has secured a contract worth ₹30.9 crore from the Karnataka State Police Housing & Infrastructure Development Corporation. The project has to be completed within 20 months, said the company in a notification to the exchanges. RPP Infra Projects is engaged in the business of infrastructure development such as highway roads, bridges, civil construction works, irrigation & water supply projects and power plant. Shares of RPP Infra Projects gained 3.05 per cent at ₹109.5 on the BSE.

Reliance Power has received approval from the Coal Ministry to increase its production from Moher & Moher Amlohri extension mines attached to the Sasan Ultra Mega Power Plant to 17.2 mtpa in 2015-16 from 16 mtpa, the company informed the exchanges. The Anil Ambani-led company believes that the increase in production will sustain operations at Sasan power plant in Madhya Pradesh, and would help generate additional 2.2 billion units of electricity. Reliance Power shares were down 1.5 per cent at ₹46.05 on the NSE.

A2Z Infra Engineering has informed the exchanges that a settlement has been reached between A2Z Green Waste Management, a direct subsidiary of A2Z Infra Engineering, and Barclays Bank Plc, regarding the outstanding amount of ₹26.65 crore (including principle and interest as well as penal interest, if any). Now, a mutually agreed ₹4.75 crore would be paid by A2Z Green Waste to Barclays Bank as one-time settlement in lieu of full and final payment. The stock of A2Z Infra slid 1.9 per cent at ₹19.7 on the BSE.
