Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese has informed the BSE that it is planning to take on lease part of the land and the entire plant and machinery of its subsidiary Sree Mahalakshmi Smelters Pvt Ltd. The company plans to put the plant into operation for the production of ferro chrome or silico manganese. Shares of Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese gained 0.41 per cent at ₹36.95 on the BSE.

KNR Constructions has secured an order worth ₹414.90 crore from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. The order entails rehabilitation and upgradation of the Dindigul - Bangalore road to four lanes with paved shoulder in Tamil Nadu on engineering, procurement and construction basis to be completed within a period of 24 months from the appointed date. Shares of KNR Construction closed at ₹524.55, a gain of 1.85 per cent over the previous day’s close on the BSE.

Strides Shasun has received tentative approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for generic version of Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Susvita tablets.The approval is for the generic efavirenz tablet of 600 mg strength. Susvita is a prescription medicine used in combination with other medicines to treat HIV-1 infection. Strides Shasun will receive the final approval after patent expiry in August 2018, the company said in a release. Shares of Strides Shasun jumped 6.44 per cebt at ₹1,109.45 on the BSE.
