Amtek Auto on Tuesday said it has not yet taken a final decision on the sale price of its German unit, Amtek Tekfor Holding GmBH. In a clarification to media reports suggesting that the company was in final stages of the sale of Tekfor for $700 million to a foreign buyer, the auto-maker said no price has been finalised yet and in future whenever any transaction takes place, the same will be communicated to the stock exchanges. The sale of Tekfor is part of the attempts being made by Amtek Auto to cut its debt through divestment in overseas assets. Shares of Amtek Auto ended down 1.2 per cent at ₹36.10 on the NSE.

The board of directors of 8K Miles Software Services will meet on Saturday to consider allotment of shares on conversion of warrants to the promoter, as well as non-promoter groups. Shares of 8K Miles were down 2.25 per cent at ₹1,704.85 on the NSE.

DCM Shriram has commissioned 420 tonnes per day (tpd) of additional capacity of chlor-alkali at its Shriram Alkali and Chemicals unit in Bharuch, Gujarat, taking the plant’s total capacity to 1,200 tpd. The company will expand the remaining capacity of the plant in phases by September or October, the company informed the exchanges on Tuesday. Production at the Bharuch unit will increase by 250 tpd till commissioning of the power expansion project. The increased production will be achieved over the next two weeks. Shares of DCM Shriram slipped 2.5 per cent at ₹204.10 on the NSE.
