Suzlon Energy on Wednesday informed the exchanges that ReNew Power Ventures has issued it a repeat turnkey order. ReNew Power Ventures, a renewable energy independent power producer, issued an order for 48 units of hybrid towers and 15 units of tubular towers with a rated capacity of 2.1 megawatts (MW) each. The project is to be commissioned in Andhra Pradesh by March 2017. Suzlon will provide a comprehensive range of services and dedicated life cycle asset management services for an initial period of 12 years. With this order, Suzlon’s portfolio with ReNew Power would exceed 500 MW. ReNew Power is one of the leading customers of Suzlon. Shares of Suzlon Energy moved up 1.82 per cent at ₹16.75 on the NSE.

3i Infotech has informed the exchanges that Bombay High Court has admitted the Winding up Petition filed by Tata Capital Financial Services against the company to recover dues worth about ₹27 crore. The court, however, has not yet appointed the Provisional Liquidator. The High Court has also stayed the order of publication for four weeks and granted the company leave to appeal before the division bench of the Court against this decision. The company has not yet received a certified copy of the order from the Bombay High Court but has obtained a soft copy (uploaded on its website). 3i Infotech has referred the matter to its attorney and will file an appeal against the order before the Division Bench of the High Court, it said. Shares of 3i Infotech slumped 10 per cent at ₹5.35 on the NSE.
