The QIP committee of Manpasand Beverages on Friday passed resolutions declaring closure of the qualified institutional placement and approving the issue price of ₹705 a share. The company will allot 70.92 lakh shares to eligible qualified institutional buyers. Shares of Manpasand Beverages closed a shade higher at ₹751.1 on the NSE.
Inox Leisure on Friday kicked off commercial operations at a three-screen, 830-seater multiplex movie theatre taken on lease at Rangoli Mall in Howrah, the company said in a notification to the stock exchanges. Inox now operates in 57 cities with 110 multiplexes, 432 screens, and total seating capacity of 1.10 lakh seats across India. Inox already has operations in Rajarhat, Salt Lake, Elgin Road, Hiland Park, Quest Mall, and South City Mall in Kolkata, and also operates a movie theatre at RD Mall in Liluah, Howrah. Shares of Inox Leisure closed up 3.9 per cent at ₹262.40 on the NSE.
MIRC Electronics has informed the exchanges that 166 permanent workers of the company have voluntarily resigned from the company. On September 13, it executed an agreement with the workers’ union at its Wada, Palghar, factory for the purpose of cost optimisation and effective utilisation of resources. Compensation was paid to the workers in accordance with the agreement, the company said in the notification. Shares of MIRC Electronics gained 4 per cent at ₹12.85 on the NSE.
