Speciality Restaurants opened a new Zoodles restaurant in Thane, Maharashtra, on October 18. With this, the total number of restaurants and confectionaries of the company increased to 107, including 25 franchise restaurants and 17 confectionaries. Shares of Speciality Restaurants climbed 2.4 per cent at ₹89.5 on the BSE.
Swan Energy on Tuesday said it has received shareholders’ approval to raise ₹1,200 crore through issuance of equity shares or securities, such as foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs). The special resolution to mop up ₹1,200 crore was approved by shareholders at the annual general meeting held on September 21, the company said in a BSE filing. According to the statement, shareholders also approved dividend at the rate of 5 per cent for every equity share of face value ₹1 each. The shareholders also adopted the audited financial results for the year ended March 31, 2016, along with reports of the board and auditors. Shares of Swan Energy gained 2.2 per cent at ₹102.65 on the BSE.
Aarti Industries has fixed November 2 as record date for the purpose of buyback of equity shares. The board has approved buyback of up to 12 lakh equity shares of the company, representing up to 1.44 per cent of the total equity capital, at ₹800 a share, for an aggregate amount of up to ₹96 crore. The buyback will be on proportionate basis through the tender offer route to all equity shareholders/beneficial owners who hold shares on the record date. Members of the promoter and promoter group of the company have indicated their intention to participate in the proposed buyback, Aarti Industries said. Shares of Aarti Industries climbed 5 per cent at ₹739.75 on the BSE.
