IMP Powers on Tuesday informed the exchanges that it has successfully conducted Dynamic Short Circuit test on 160 MVA, 220/66 KV power transformer in the first attempt for its customer Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPNL), a State government undertaking. This testing was done for one of the highest rated transformers manufactured by CPRI Bangalore. Shares of IMP Powers slipped 2.14 per cent at ₹89.3 while on the BSE they closed at ₹92, down 1.34 per cent.
Quess Corp on Tuesday completed the acquisition of 64 per cent equity of Comtel Solutions Pte Ltd. Earlier on February 6 the company had entered into definitive agreements for acquiring Comtel Solutions Pte Ltd, Singapore. However, Quess Corp, a subsidiary of Thomas Cook (India), did not specify the deal amount. Shares of Quess Corp gained 1.6 per cent at ₹659.7 on the NSE.
Sujana Metal Products has informed the exchanges that the company has changed its name to Splendid Metal Products. The proposal has been approved by both the BSE and the NSE. The change of name will take effect from February 17, the company said. The stock of Sujana Metal slumped 7.14 per cent at ₹2.60 on the NSE.
