Goa Carbon has said it has temporarily shut down its plant in Goa from Monday. In an exchange filing, the company said it does not see any financial impact from the shutdown as there is sufficient inventory to service the orders in hand. Goa Carbon manufactures and sells calcined petroleum coke in India. Shares of Goa Carbon ended down 1.5 per cent at ₹106.90 on the NSE.

Nesher Pharmaceuticals, the subsidiary of Cadila Healthcare , has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for the generic versions of Tamiflu and Zyvox tablets, the company said in an exchange filing. Oseltamivir phosphate tablets, the generic of Tamiflu, are used to prevent and treat influenza viral infection and will be produced at Cadila’s facility at St. Louis in the US. Linezolid tablet, the generic of Zyvox, is used to treat bacterial infections and will be produced at Cadila’s facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The company has received approval for 30 mg, 45 mg and 75 mg strengths of oseltamivir phosphate tablets and 600 mg of linezolid tablets. Shares of Cadila Healthcare gained 1.6 per cent at ₹437.60 on the NSE.

NTPC on Monday said it has commissioned 115 MW of the 260 MW solar power project at Bhadla in Rajasthan. The company said that with the commissioning of this plant, its solar power capacity stands at 475 MW, and the total power generation capacity at 41,177 MW. The group now has total capacity of 48,143 MW. Shares of NPTC ended flat at ₹165.40 against Friday’s close of ₹165.50.
