RPP Infra Projects has informed the exchanges that it has bagged an order from Karnataka State Police Housing (KSPH) and Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCL) for ₹50.70 crore. The company has to build 192 police quarters in Kolar City and 156 quarters in Mysore under the Police Gruha 2020 scheme. The work has to be completed within 16 months, RPP Infra said in a statement to the exchanges. Shares of the company closed at ₹253.50, up 3 per cent on the BSE.
The National Stock Exchange has informed its members that trading in the equity shares of Hindustan Organic Chemicals will be suspended from August 17 (i.e. from the closing hours of trading on August 16) on account of voluntary delisting by the company. HOCL shares will continue to trade on the BSE. The stock gained 1.67 per cent at ₹24.30 on the BSE.
Kirloskar Oil Engines on August 1 acquired 76 per cent equity shares of La-Gajjar Machineries Pvt Ltd. Following the acquisition, La-Gajjar Machineries has become a subsidiary of the company. La-Gajjar, a Gujarat-based company, is in the business of submersible pumps and open well motors under the brand name Varuna Pumps. Shares of Kirloskar Oil Engines closed 0.8 per cent lower at ₹400 on the BSE.
