JK Paper on Tuesday said water supply has been restored and production process resumed at its unit in Rayagada, Odisha. Earlier on Monday it informed the exchanges of a disruption in the production process at the unit due to stoppage of water supply by some local villagers, despite all staff members of the company working in the plant. Shares of JK Paper slipped 3.27 per cent at ₹106.35 on the NSE.
The board of Spice Mobility on Tuesday decided to acquire an additional 10.78 per cent stake in Spice Digital, subsidiary of the company. Currently, Spice Mobility holds 89.19 per cent stake in Spice Digital. The company will pay ₹34.56 crore (in cash) for the acquisition to Mediatek Singapore Pte Ltd and the deal is expected to be completed within one month. Shares of Spice Mobility closed at ₹20.60, up 0.50 per cent on the NSE.
Eros International Plc on Tuesday announced that the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York has dismissed, with prejudice, the putative securities class action suit that was originally filed in November 2015 against Eros and certain of its officers and directors. Shares of Eros International, owned by Eros International Plc, jumped 9.9 per cent at ₹222.40 on the NSE.
