The Supreme Court on Thursday directed Reliance Infrastructure’s subsidiary BSES Yamuna Power Pvt Ltd to pay ₹257 crore to power generating and transmitting companies by July 15. The apex court asked BSES Yamuna to pay the bills generated between January 1 and June 30. The court said it will later decide the controversy on pre-January 2014 arrears owed by BSES Yamuna Power Pvt Ltd and BSES Rajdhani Pvt Ltd. Shares of BSES will remain in focus thanks to this burning issue.
