D B Realty scrip gained 5 per cent to touch the upper circuit limit today after ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s firm acquired 12.5 lakh shares of the real estate company in an open market deal worth over Rs 11 crore.
D B Realty shares climbed 5 per cent to touch the upper circuit limit of Rs 98.75 on the BSE. On the NSE, the scrip surged 4.99 per cent to Rs 98.80.
Rare Enterprises had purchased 12.5 lakh shares of D B Realty at an average price of Rs 90.21 apiece on Friday. This values the transaction at Rs 11.27 crore. The investment firm has been set up by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.
