The board of directors of DCM Shriram will meet on Monday to consider a proposal for a buyback. Investors will closely monitor the issue size, quantum of shares to be bought back and buyback price, if the board approves the proposal. Besides, DCM Shriram promoters’ intention on participating in the buyback will also elicit investor interest. The mode of buyback -- open market purchase or through tender route -- would be of keen interest to shareholders.
