Sun Pharma Industries notched up gains of 4.40 per cent to lead the pack on the NSE at noon on Thursday. The scrip was trading at Rs 924.95 as against Rs 885.95 at close yesterday.
DLF built gains of 2.85 per cent to trade at Rs 147.80 as against Rs 143.70 at close yesterday.
Axis Bank traded up 2.61 per cent at Rs 561.55. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 547.25.
Asian Paints moved up 2.28 per cent to trade at Rs 870.70. The scrip had ended the previous session at Rs 851.30.
UltraTech Cement firmed up 2.13 per cent to quote at Rs 3,119.95 as against Rs 3,054.80 at close yesterday.
The markets maintained their uptrend for a third succesive day on fund flows and healthy Q3 numbers posted by the blue-chips. The Sensex notched up gains of over 100 points to breach the 29,000-mark for the first time, while the Nifty gained over 20 points during the morning session to trade above the 8,700-mark.
