DLF, Phoenix Mills gain on hopes for REIT listings

The DLF share has gained 0.8 per cent and Phoenix Mills 1.5 per cent, while the Prestige Estate Projects share has gained 2.1 per cent. This follows the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s Budget proposal for an overhaul of capital gains taxes to pave the way for the listing of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).
