Realty stock DLF emerged the top gainer on the NSE by the close of trading on Thursday. The Budget proposals for real estate gave the stock a boost. It was trading at ₹222.40, up 9.02 per cent on its previous close at ₹204.
IDFC also built gains of 8.68 per cent to quote at ₹151.55. The stock had ended the previous session at ₹139.45.
Hindalco Industries spiked up 3.34 per cent at ₹176.25 as against its overnight finish at ₹170.55.
Tata Power was trading firm at ₹105.90 as against its overnight close at ₹102.85. This represented a gain of 2.97 per cent.
United Spirits bubbled up 2.25 per cent at ₹2,347.50 as against ₹2.295.90 at close on Wednesday.
