The board of directors of Emami, apart from considering the financial performance for the quarter and year ended March 2018, will also mull a bonus issue. Shareholders would be keen to know the bonus ratio. In 2013, the company had declared 1:2 (one share for every two shares held) bonus. Currently, public shareholders own 27.26 per cent stake in Emami; these include around 45,000 small investors (3.94 per cent), Nomura India (1.60 per cent) and Aberdeen Global (1.03 per cent).
