Sumeet Industries on Tuesday said Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation has restored the open access (OA) facility, which had been discontinued since March 2014. The company has been sourcing power through the OA mode from February 1. Due to this saving on energy costs, it will save about ₹1.50 crore a month and add ₹18 crore in its profit in the next 12 months. Analysts will keep a close tab on the development.
