Engineers India on Wednesday said it has signed an agreement to provide project management consultancy services for a 1.5-million-tonne refinery that is being set up in Mongolia. The pact was signed with Mongol Refinery State Owned LLC. India had extended $1-billion (about ₹7,000 crore) line of credit during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015. EIL had carried out a detailed feasibility study for the project and was subsequently pre-qualified and short-listed for providing project management consultancy services for the Mongolian project. Shares of Engineers India slipped 2.32 per cent at ₹ 105.05 on the BSE.
