GM Breweries and Goa Carbon will remain in focus on Thursday, as the respective boards will meet to consider the unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ending September 30, 2016. GM Breweries’ net profit fell 21 per cent to ₹12.58 crore on 9.6 per cent rise in sales to ₹89.05 crore in Q1 over the previous fiscal Q1. Goa Carbon reported a sharp rise in standalone net profit at ₹81.18 lakh (₹37.18 lakh) but its sales declined to ₹63.72 crore (₹79.95 crore).
