FIEM Ind bags LED bulbs order supply for AP, Kerala

FIEM Industries has received a letter of award (dated August 14) from Energy Efficiency Services for design, manufacture, and supply of 81 lakh self-ballasted 9W LED bulbs for Kerala and Andhra Pradesh at ₹72.40 a bulb with three-year warranty. The total contract size is ₹58.64 crore and the company has to deliver the products within four months. The company, which had participated in the tender floated by EESL for 3.27 crore bulbs, had received the order for supply of 70 lakh units. That has now been enhanced to 81 lakh units. Shares of FIEM slumped 15.8 per cent at ₹505.75 on the BSE.
