Shares of Grasim Industries may come under pressure, as they go out of the Nifty 50 index from Friday, May 26. Vedanta, which went out of the benchmark from April 1, 2016, has replaced Grasim in the index. Similarly, Muthoot Finance and Dalmia Bharat will enter the Nifty Midcap50 index in place of Sun TV Network and Aditya Birla Nuvo. Mutual funds and exchange-traded funds based on these benchmarks have to adjust their portfolios accordingly.
