HDFC was the top gainer on the BSE on Monday morning. At 10.54 am the share was trading at Rs 1,166.10 against Rs 1,142.10 at close on Friday. This was a gain of 2.10 per cent.
Tata Motors rode up 1.69 per cent to quote at Rs 328.30 against Rs 322.85 at close last week.
Cipla perked up 1.24 per cent to quote at Rs 657.45. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 649.40.
Maruti Suzuki sped up 0.98 per cent to trade at Rs 4,109 against Rs 4,069.20 at close on Friday.
ITC gained 0.74 per cent at Rs 318 against Rs 316.45 at close overnight.
