HDFC surged 2.05 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the BSE in late trading on Friday. At 3 pm the share was trading at Rs 1,309.8 against Rs 1,283.55 at close overnight.
Pharma scrip Lupin came off its morning highs to quote at Rs 1,902.45. This was a gain of 1.75 per cent on Thursday’s close at Rs 1,869.70.
BHEL made further progress to hold gains of 1.6 per cent at Rs 259.65 against Rs 255.55 at close last evening.
Hero MotoCorp zipped up 1.60 per cent to trade at Rs 2,573.45. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 2,532.85.
HDFC Bank rode up 1.5 per cent at Rs 1,073.35 against Rs 1,057.45 at close on Thursday.
