HDFC held on to its firm undertone on the markets to edge up further in late trading on the BSE on Friday. At 3.25 pm the share was trading at Rs 1,281 as against Rs 1,248.90 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 2.57 per cent.
Infosys moved up 1.65 per cent to trade at Rs 2,229.80. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 2,193.60.
Sesa Sterlite rode up 1.56 per cent to quote at Rs 211.05. This was a gain of 1.56 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 207.80.
ITC made further ground to hold gains of 1.32 per cent at Rs 373.50. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 368.65.
TCS was the other IT company in the limelight, trading up 1.06 per cent at Rs 2,579.05 as against its overnight close at Rs 2,551.90.
