Hero Motocorp, which has come out with sterling Q2 numbers, led the Nifty gainers after about 150 minutes of trading on the NSE today.
With the market in a buying spree, there was only one stock among the top ten losers in the Nifty whereas the top ten gainers’ slots were easily filled up.
Hero Motocorp was up 5.04 per cent and trading at Rs 2,086 with a trading volume of 6.82 lakh shares. DLF was second with 3.46 per cent gain and trading around Rs 237 and JP Associates was up 3.11 per cent and trading at Rs 72.85.
Surprisingly Wipro was the only software stock to figure among the top 10 Nifty gainers, with a gain of 2.98 per cent and was trading at Rs 356.35.
The only stock to figure among the top ten losers was Sesa Goa but its loss was very meagre at 0.85 per cent and the scrip was trading at Rs 216.80.
