BHEL made rapid strides to emerge the top gainer on the NSE as well by the close on Monday. The share ended the trading session at Rs 272.45 against Rs 266.15 at close last week. This was a gain of 2.37 per cent.
Hero MotoCorp drove up 1.58 per cent to quote at Rs 2,703.95 against Rs 2,661.85 at close previously.
Maruti Suzuki advanced 0.99 per cent at Rs 4,497.15 against Rs 4,452.95 at close last Friday.
TCS traded up 0.79 per cent at Rs 2,572.10 against Rs 2,552.05 at close last week.
Bajaj Auto rode up 0.68 per cent at Rs 2,554.60 against Rs 2,537.40 at close previously.
