IT shares hogged the limelight on the NSE on Tuesday. Infosys stayed ahead of the pack to close the day up 11.13 per cent at Rs 1,112.65 against its overnight close at Rs 1,001.25.
Bharti Airtel shed some of its morning gains to trade at Rs 445.25. This represented a gain of 3.68 per cent on Monday’s close at Rs 429.45.
HCL Technologies also lost some ground to trade at Rs 974.80. This was a gain of 2.97 per cent on its previous close at Rs 946.65.
Zee Entertainment rode up 2.26 per cent at Rs 387.20 against Rs 378.65 at close yesterday.
Tech Mahindra edged down to hold gains of 1.72 per cent at Rs 509.4 against Rs 500.80 at close on Monday.
