IT shares were in the limelight in the morning session on the BSE on Tuesday. At 10.04 am Infosys led the pack on the bourse, trading at Rs 1,125.45. This represented a gain of 1.88 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 1,104.65.
Wipro spurted 1.11 per cent at Rs 598.90 against Rs 592.30 at close overnight.
M&M drove up 1.06 per cent to quote at Rs 1,196.95 against Rs 1,184.40 at close on Monday.
ITC advanced 0.86 per cent to quote at Rs 317 against Rs 314.30 at close yesterday.
Lupin perked up 0.69 per cent at Rs 1,894.15 against Rs 1,881.25 at close last evening.
