IT shares maintained their firm tone to stay ahead of the pack on the NSE in late session on Wednesday.
At 3.35 pm Tech Mahindra had moved up further to trade at Rs 640.8 as against Rs 619.25 at close yesterday. This represented a gain of 3.48 per cent.
HCL Technologies also made further ground to quote at Rs 960.10, up 2.78 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 934.15.
HDFC built gains of 2.38 per cent to quote at Rs 1,270.05 as against Rs 1,240.55 at close yesterday.
Wipro gained 2.06 per cent to trade at Rs 564. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 552.60.
UltraTech Cement firmed up further to hold gains of 2.05 per cent at Rs 3,032.25 as against Rs 2,971.40 at close yesterday.
