Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, Jet Airways, Torrent Pharmaceuticals, and Container Corp of India Ltd have risen between 2.8 per cent and 3.3 per cent.
The National Stock Exchange has introduced futures and options contracts in the four stocks.
New contracts will be available for trading from January 1, 2016, the NSE circular said.
The move is expected to boost participation as investors and institutions can hedge underlying positions in the stock.
At 10.30 am the Godrej Consumer share was trading up 2.4 per cent at Rs 1,314.55 on the BSE. The Jet Airways stock was up 2.8 per cent at Rs 675.75, the Torrent Pharma stock was up 0.9 per cent at Rs 1,473 and the Container Corp share was up 1.99 per cent at Rs 1,307.85.
