Shares of Jet Airways jumped as much as 8.5 per cent in early trade after it reported record earnings for the December quarter.
At about 10 am, the Jet Air stock was trading up 4.18 per cent or Rs 23.85 at Rs 594.70, off its morning high.
The country's second largest carrier expects pressure on yields to continue due to competitive challenges in the sector.
The stock has lost 21.34 per cent since January 13, 2016, when it hit a five-year high.
