The board of directors of Jindal Poly Films on Monday approved a plan to increase the shareholding of the company in Global Nonwovens to 100 per cent from 60.40 per cent for a total consideration of ₹32.30 crore. The company purchased the shares Global Nonwovens, its subsidiary, from other promoters, it said in a statement to the exchanges. The stock of Jindal Poly Films closed at ₹416.10, down 1 per cent on the NSE.
